“Disclosure Day”and All Things Disclosure

Hello Friends, Family & Associates, 

I really enjoyed Steven Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day.” It seems like many Spielberg fans, including myself, were seeking another ‘feel good’ classic like “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” or “E.T.” It wasn’t that and really wasn’t meant to be that. It’s a dramatic thriller about seeking the truth. 

With all the congressional meetings taking place and whistleblowers coming forward in recent years, Spielberg felt obligated to write something in the vein of disclosure and call up his old musical extraordinary friend, John Williams. THANK GOD! 

I saw “Disclosure Day” with a great Meetup group called UFO-LA. It’s a bunch of UFO enthusiasts. They meet monthly at Lawless Brewing Company in NoHo to connect and share stories. I’ve heard some incredible stories. The group also does stargazing occasionally. I hope to attend one soon.

I’ve submerged myself into the UFO community as the subject matter has found its way into my storytelling. 

And it’s because of this group that I found out about the following event below as it was shared on our WhatsApp group chat. 

Power To the Paper: Jailbreaking Disclosure

I signed up the same afternoon on Sat. June 27th for this UFO Art Show & Lecture / panels. The official title presented by Greg Bishop and Creepy Kingdom: Power To the Paper: Jailbreaking Disclosure Through Art.

The event was fantastic! Great panels and discussions. The artwork as you can see is amazing! Most of the artists are experiencers. 👽🛸

There was a fascinating panel with filmmakers Dean Alioto (“The McPherson Tape”, Darren Lynn Bousman (“Saw 2”), Ryan Grulich (“The Lady in the Lake” – Producer), and Greg Bishop. Greg is one of the subjects in a documentary by Dean Alioto called “The Experiencers: Full Disclosure” that was just released. You can rent it on Apple TV.

The constant theme of the discussions pointed to disclosure coming from experiencers and witnesses themselves and not waiting for the government to disclose. Someone mentioned that it’s great that “Disclosure Day” involved two experiences. But that’s not enough. 

The phenomenon is global. There are experiencers in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, China. All over. 

People need to share their stories however they can whether it’s through art. movies, music, paintings, etc.

Networking & Rewriting

This year I joined a writers’ group, Hollywood Speakeasy, after attending the Allegory Screenwriters’ Conference in March 2026. The organization is getting writers together to hold each other accountable and help each other learn, grow and make connections. It’s a great group and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes and what opportunities will come. 

Our group already got together with another writers’ group, the Independent Writers Caucus, to increase networking. The IWC is co-hosted by James Moorer, aka Uncle James. James was on one the panelists at the Allegory event. 

James likes to do movie/TV trivia and giveaway merch. I won an Independent Writers Caucus teeshirt!  James mentioned two actors; Michelle Pfeiffer and as soon as he mentioned Jack Nicholson, I raised my hand. He looked at me shaking his head because he constantly tells people to wait until you hear the whole question. But I knew the answer. “Wolf.” (Insert Howling)

I continue to rework my screenplays. “Jordan and the Sphere” is a sci-fi story about an orphan’s family inheriting a metallic sphere with supernatural features.

Other sci-fi oriented scripts I’m working on include “Modified,” “The Battle of Los Angeles – 1942” and “Rivals.”

“Rivals” is one I’m doing a major overhaul draft. 

LOGLINE:
When two young paranormal investigators go missing at a mysterious mansion, a divorced couple is brought back together to uncover the mansion’s secrets that will miraculously reunite them with their abducted son and save the world from an alien invasion.

Dreaded Day Jobs

So far, 2026 has been much like last year in the sense of the ‘day’ work I’ve been doing. It’s mostly temporary work.

The paid script reading has dried up a bit. 

I’m looking at what else I can do to create an income. Side jobs, etc. 

Not For This World

PS The above is taken from my newsletter. After sending the newsletter out this morning, I learned that today is World UFO Day. Apparently, today is the anniversary of the Roswell, New Mexico crash in 1947 (July 2).

I also made my first Etsy sale on this day, Thursday, July2, 2026. YAY!
