Director Porter Erisman discusses his feature film, “Crocodile in the Yangtze” and being involved with the Social Media for Social Change panel at Social Media Film Festival. Porter’s film is about the beginnings of the internet in China and small start-up Chinese company Alibaba.com taking on eBay.

Days after SMFF took place at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, September 2012, Sam Dever interviewed me about my experience putting on the festival. I did have high hopes of putting the festival on again. The truth is I am still trying to figure out how to make a living in or related to the film industry many years later in Los Angeles. Some day I may take another plunge into producing a film festival. Also, keep in mind that the contact info. or social media and website in this and other videos no longer exist. The SMFF Facebook page is still in existence though.
